What to Expect?
Red Sea Explorers has recently located and explored an assortment of virgin wrecks in the Red Sea. The first was a 100 meter long cargo ship at 78 meters. In a location nearby, the second wreck was a steam ship from the late 1800s, also 78 meters deep. The third target was a 100 year old coaling ship 65 meters deep. These are the first of more than 150 locations we plan to explore throughout the Gulf of Suez. Exploration weeks have been planned throughout the year. Divers interested and able to do extended range diving in open water with strong currents and rough surface conditions can sign up to be part of the fun.
Be prepared for a challenging program, long days of searching and demanding diving. Exploration will range from 30 meters to a maximum of 80 meters of depth. Divers with less experience are welcome to join as support divers. It can be an excellent experience for an aspiring explorer.
